Our Principal, Dr. Sangeeta Bhatia’s message inspires – as it reminds us of the many gifts the year brought. As we reflect on the year gone by, there is gratitude for the many joyous moments it provided. In our Annual Issue, we reminisce through the many reasons that KIIT World School Delhi had to celebrate life in 2023 – outstanding achievements of our students, teachers and leadership, joyous celebration of festivals and myriad wonderful expressions of the powerful relationships that are the driving force of the KIIT community.
One could sense the value for Indian heritage and patriotism on the campus from August through till September. Festivals including the bonds of Rakshabandhan and the traditions of Janmashtami were celebrated in grand style. We were honoured to visit Rashtrapati Bhavan to meet the Hon’ble President of India, Shrimati Draupadi Murmu. It was time for competitions – and awards at the Zonals and Inter-school events.
KIIT World School Delhi has always been a catalyst of change that, as our Principal Dr. Sangeeta Bhatia says, takes us towards being “more inclusive, more cohesive, more positive.” The constitution of our Student Parliament is one of many practices that we follow to ensure that the students of today emerge as leaders and make a real difference to those around them. A time for new beginnings, new students and new experiences! In April, the hard work of one school year gives way to a new academic year and we celebrate the achievements of every student. Our students have made us proud with another year of spectacular performance in the CBSE Board Exams for Classes XII and X. Congratulations to all students and their parents.
Earth Day, the colours of Baisakhi, World Creativity & Innovation Day and a special celebration to mark the birthday of the one and only Master Blaster, Sachin Tendulkar – there was much to do, experience and learn from.
Our pride in being Indian is what Republic Day is about. Every student reflects on the values enshrined in our Constitution. Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) is more than just a term at KIIT World School; we go the extra mile to ensure that each student has a sense of belonging and one-ness on our campus, and to build a culture that is supportive, safe and caring.
Join us as we bring you the highlights of our Winter Carnival and Xmas celebrations. We take pride in showcasing the talent and creativity of our students who presented spectacular shows of music, dance and drama, along with a special highlight of December: CBSE Heritage India Quiz 2022 for the West Delhi Region, an academic event to celebrate India’s glorious heritage.
We are delighted to share that Dr. Sangeeta Bhatia, Principal, KIIT World School became the proud recipient of the 2nd Excellence in Education Award conferred by the President of the Republic of Mauritius, His Excellency Prithvirajsing Roopun. Along with the Festival of Lights, we celebrated her path-breaking work and innovation in the field of education that have illumined student learning at KIIT World School, Delhi.
August was witness to a host of important events – from the Investiture Ceremony where our students stepped out into a new phase of achievement and success, to India’s Independence Day and a commemoration of the bravery and sacrifice of our freedom fighters.
We bring in summer and mango season in great style. Have a look at the fun and feasting at Mangolicious – The Aam Utsav – that celebrates our love for mangoes. Students, parents, teachers and the entire community turned out to enjoy mangoes in the hues of yellow, ombre, green, and red, and yes, to translate it into experiential learning of the best kind.

Get a glimpse of myriad activities and initiatives undertaken by students to conserve the planet, as they commit to a more sustainable world. Our global connect is well in place too, through a Career Counselling event where Class 12 students had a wonderful chance to explore options for studying in the USA.
Join us in this festive edition as we explore the beauty and significance of Holi and Basant Panchami.The vibrance of Holi, the festival of gaiety, mirth, and myriad hues were made special as parents and grandparents graced the occasion with their presence.
The Gurupurab celebration engaged our community through a ‘prabhat pheri’ where students, parents and teachers took out a procession in and around the school campus. With this, we marked the series of festivals showcasing the traditions and customs of India that bring alive the diverse cultures and traditions of North West Delhi at our inclusive campus.
