KIIT World School, Pitampura organized various activities to spread awareness against the use of tobacco. The members of the ‘No Tobacco’ committee of the school staged a nukkad natak for the support staff and workers on the school premises. The street play highlighted the consequences of smoking and consuming tobacco products. The support staff shared their reflections. Some of them even talked about the changes they could feel after quitting tobacco products. Students of class IX created videos wherein they deliberated upon the ill-effects of smoking and urged the audience to stay away from the slow poison for a healthy life. Students of class X created colorful posters depicting the disastrous effects of tobacco and how it can ruin the lives of people directly and indirectly.
