KIIT World School celebrated Baisakhi with warmth and zeal. Students presented a cultural performance wherein they showcased the hard work put in by farmers in producing food for us. Apart from this, the event consisted of an enactment depicting the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre where hundreds of innocent men, women, and children lost their lives. There was a soulful rendition of traditional Punjabi folk songs by alumnus, Simarpreet Singh Banga that added sheen to the entire program.
